A Campaign With no Borders

The Go Give One Campaign was launched in response to the growing global vaccine equity gap that left many people asking what they can do to help. With a small number of rich countries rolling out the majority of doses, many other countries are being left behind and unable to vaccinate their populations. People-powered vaccines can pave the way for everyone, everywhere to be vaccinated. The aim is to get 50 million people to take part in this campaign.

What Can I Do?

Through the Go Give One Campaign, your donation of $7 will buy a vaccine for someone who lives in a country that cannot afford them.

This holiday season, KBF CANADA is calling on all Canadians everywhere to give the gift of vaccines and help heal our world. Take action today!

Frequently Asked Questions:

How does it work?

KBF CANADA is working with the WHO Foundation to raise funds for the Go Give One campaign. These donations will go to the Gavi COVAX AMC, which funds COVID-19 vaccines for lower-income countries, helping protect those who need vaccines the most. Co-led by the World Health Organization, Gavi, the Vaccine Alliance (Gavi), and the Coalition for Epidemic Preparedness Innovations (CEPI). COVAX seeks to accelerate the development and manufacture of COVID-19 vaccines, and to guarantee fair and equitable access for every country in the world. This includes an international fund called COVAX AMC, set up by Gavi to buy vaccines for the world, starting with those who need them most. Governments are giving money to COVAX AMC, but not enough to end the pandemic.

Who is behind the campaign?

KBF CANADA is working with the WHO Foundation, creators of the Go Give One campaign, to create new ways for individuals and businesses to invest in the health of our collective world. As a non-profit grant-making foundation working together with donors, world health professionals and the WHO network, the Foundation aims to create partnerships that drive innovative actions to address the most pressing health challenges of today and tomorrow.

What is COVAX?

COVAX is the vaccines pillar of the Access to COVID-19 Tools (ACT) Accelerator, a ground-breaking global collaboration to accelerate the development, production, and equitable access to COVID-19 tests, treatments, and vaccines. It is co-led by GAVI (the Vaccine Alliance), the World Health Organization (WHO) and the Coalition for Epidemic Preparedness Innovations (CEPI), alongside key delivery partner UNICEF.

Through Gavi’s innovative financing instrument, the COVAX Advance Market Commitment (AMC), 92 lower-income economies will receive access to donor-funded COVID-19 vaccines through COVAX at the same time as 98 higher-income, self-financing countries receive their doses.
