Context
This project answers a financial need encountered by many student athletes who wish to continue their studies as well as their sports career at university level, but who unfortunately are unable to meet the costs of their education, accommodation or sometimes even their food.
Project objectives
The objective of this project is to financially support 1-2 students each year in their university studies and sports career.
Description of the project and charitable activities
The support
Support will be in the form of a scholarship or financial support for accommodation/monthly allowances.
Each grant will be worth between $3,000 and $5,000.
The selection criteria
The selection criteria for awarding scolarships are as follows:
– Level of precariousness
– Commitment
– Level of educational results at CEGEP or secondary school.
The application for support must include a covering letter, a CV and a reference from a trainer, a teacher or a mentor.
